Ending Theme Song for Detective Conan 26th Anime Movie Revealed in Trailer

A new trailer for the 26th movie, which will be in Japanese theaters starting April 14, 2023, was released on the official Twitter account of “Detective Conan.” You can watch the video further down in this article.

TMS Entertainment is making Detective Conan 26th Anime Movie

The 26th film, titled “Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine” (jap: “Meitantei Conan: Kurogane no Submarine”), is being made under the direction of director Yuzuru Tachikawa (“Deca-Dence”) at studio TMS Entertainment. Takeharu Sakurai (“The Darkest Nightmare”) is writing the screenplay.

The theme song is entitled “Utsukushii Hire” (roughly “Beautiful Fin”) and is contributed by the Japanese rock band SPITZ. For the musical background of the new strip
is Yuugo Kanno (“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders”).

“Detective Conan” has been airing on Japanese television since January 1996 and now consists of over 1,000 episodes, 25 movies and various specials. The original manga, penned by Gosho Aoyama.

Detective Conan 26th Movie Storyline

On the island of Hachijou-jima, south of Tokyo, engineers from around the world gather to witness the launch of a new law enforcement system that links camera systems around the world to enable global facial recognition.

Conan has also arrived at Sonoko’s invitation and receives a message from Subaru Okiya, which says that the Black Organization has murdered a Europol agent in Germany. The organization wants to kidnap an engineer who has important data on her USB stick.
